My favourite versions of 'Cry me a river' were Julie London's and the deep sexy trancelike beat of Illumination..that is, until I came across this gem.
Reality tv just has to be so melodramatic ! Poor thing, I read about how everyone wants to give her a make over now- and then she'll probably be criticized for her new look, as the public admired her in the first place for her "effortless look", and she will have no say in it. The British media hates winners, and it will take whatever chance it can get to destroy her after her 15minutes of fame. She's a talented, and a seemingly nice person. Let's hope they don't fuck her up
@Fastidious babe...yes she really is one in a million :)
@Zuz...lol Im going to comment on that one below with KissMyShades
@KissMyShades..Unfortunately we live in a very very superficial world...being image conscious is not a bad thing but as you said its so incredibly messed up. She reminds me of the days when people were honestly appreciated for their 'gifts' and talents and simply respected the miracle before them...be it a great singer or a superior surgeon, the world used to solemnly attach alot of prestige to special people like her. I mean yes, look at her..at 47 why on earth would you want to mould her into another overcaked overtanned 'artist'? Shes truly a gem in this day and age. Thank you for making me smile..I love how Ive met a group of us here who honestly choose to look beyond the menial existance that others choose to cage themselves in x
I love peaceful nights..I love the world when its asleep and Im submerged in the privacy of my thoughts...set them free and revel in the calmness that envelopes...late nights and parisian music...parisian anything...Ive always loved how a whole nation can live their lives in the pursuit of pleasure and lifes little luxuries...not a care in the world they throw away their inhibitions and live life to the fullest experiencing and savoring every single delicious moment...what a life to lead...what memories to look back on when you sit years ahead.. once more enjoying another soothing night..
Here are my memoirs..
