My favourite versions of 'Cry me a river' were Julie London's and the deep sexy trancelike beat of Illumination..that is, until I came across this gem.

Michael Kors Classic Leg Shine
In terms of a tan whatever you choose the nicest thing you can do to it is make it subtly glow. A few years ago I found this delicious scented stick from Michael Kors that worked like magic..over a tan it highlights and gives a really pretty sheen on areas like legs, collarbone and top of arms. I ran out and I found an amazing replacement in the Body Shops stick...its stunning...they also have a tube of this liquid molten gold called Shimmer Sun that glides on for more of an impact anywhere including face..it reminded me of Scott Barnes Body Bling which works creative magic if youre looking for a deeper shimmer.
If youre on the beach this summer take a bottle of Nars Monoi Oil Body Glow that works beautifully over tanned skin to give a really sexy sheen. You dont want the oil to fry your skin so don't forget the sunscreen.

Released a couple of weeks ago and cited as apparently being the last film Joaquin Phoenix stars in, comes a story of "the eternal and vexing conflict a man can feel over pursuing a bewitching, sexually fascinating neurotic and choosing a good, attractive but less mysterious woman who's the more sensible partner". Gwyneth Paltrow has been a personal favourite of mine since Great Expectations and Sliding doors and Im anticipating this to be a really thought provoking flick.
Speaking of deep films...I saw Penelope Cruz and Sir Ben Kingsley star in Elegy...an incredibly fascinating and thought provoking movie..showcasing "the passionate relationship between a celebrated college professor and a young woman whose beauty both ravishes and destabilizes him"...her self assuredness and deeply observant direction as well as her vulnerability really should earn her another Oscar nomination after her fantastic job in Vicky Cristina Barcelona..I felt like I was intruding on something so personal and so juvenile at the same time, like a person caught in the middle of a couples moment in public and doesnt know what to do with that...or where to turn your head..I have to say it won't appeal to everybody, but I relished seeing a movie that spoke to me about the human psyche in so many different layers.
